Lambros Lambrou

Lambros Lambrou is Chief Strategy Officer for Aon and a member of the Aon Executive Committee.

As Chief Strategy Officer, Lambros is responsible for key initiatives involving our Aon United strategy and 3×3 Plan, further strengthening our collaboration with NFP to deliver exceptional value to our clients.

Lambros most recently served as CEO of Human Capital, where he helped drive industry-leading growth through the successful integration of the firm’s Health, Wealth and Talent solutions. Prior to leading Human Capital, Lambros served as Aon’s global CEO of Commercial Risk and before that as Chief Commercial Officer and CEO of Global Specialties for Commercial Risk solutions. Earlier in his career, Lambros served as CEO of Aon’s retail business in Australia, CEO of Aon’s Global Broking Centre in London, Chief Broking Officer of EMEA, Global Chief Operating Officer for Aon Broking and Head of Aon Analytics.

Lambros, who is based in New York, has worked in the risk management industry for nearly four decades, with experience across Asia Pacific, North America, Europe, Middle East and Africa. With his diverse geographical experience and far-reaching network, Lambros ensures clients have unfettered access to Aon’s global resources and capabilities whenever and wherever they need them.

His career has focused on insurance, reinsurance and alternative capital markets. Lambros has also played a central role in steering a number of Aon’s key growth initiatives over the last 10 years. This includes Lambros’ contributions to the development of Aon’s Global Risk Insight Platform which today is the world’s leading repository of insurance placement information. He also helped create Aon’s first Centre for Innovation and Analytics, housed in Dublin, roll out the Aon Client Promise and architect the industry’s first Sidecar solution developed with Berkshire Hathaway.

Lambros has an Economics and Statistics degree (with Honors) from the University of Exeter in the UK and is a graduate of the INSEAD Executive Leadership Program.
