The expert teams whose members implement our programmes, projects and initiatives.
We gather the best minds across sectors in our Working Groups and Task Forces – the IDF Change Agents – to develop insurance solutions for Emerging Markets and Developing Economies (EMDEs). We implement projects under public-private partnership programmes to help build future-ready nations.
IDF members and partners working on our projects include (re)insurers, brokers, risk modellers, insurtech companies, satellite data providers, development organisations, humanitarians, foundations and others. Projects formally commence once a country, region or city decides to work with us and to co-lead a project on the demand side.
Together, these teams of Change Agents work to develop risk analytics capabilities, disaster risk reduction measures, risk transfer solutions, insurance laws and capacity building to use insurance as a tool for in-country resilience.
