Marilyn Blattner-Hoyle was appointed Managing Director, Head Swiss Re Public Sector Solutions (PSS) in April 2025 with a mandate to grow globally the public sector business segment on behalf of the Swiss Re Group.

Marilyn joined Swiss Re in August 2021 as the Global Head of Trade Finance, Trade Credit & Working Capital Solutions at Swiss Re, Corporate Solutions. Previously, she was the Global Head of Trade Finance at global insurer American International Group (AIG).

Prior to insurance, Marilyn was a banking lawyer in the international banking and finance practice for global law firm Hogan Lovells in London and New York. Marilyn specialised in trade finance and multilateral & development finance work supporting banks, sovereign government and development finance institutions. She was also seconded in-house to Citibank while there. Her career started in international consulting.

Marilyn is a Vice Chair of the International Chamber of Commerce (Global Banking Commission) since 2021 (2nd term).

Marilyn is English and American and based in Zurich and married with two kids.
