Krishnan Narasimhan, is the Lead Specialist (Climate Disaster Risk Financing and Insurance) for UN Capital Development Fund, having developed this new portfolio from 2021.

Krishnan has over 2 decades insurance industry experience having served in responsible senior management positions in emerging markets in Asia and Oceania and has been with UNCDF since 2013, initially leading their financial inclusion programme in the Pacific, and now the CDRFI programming globally.
