IDF–ADB Partnership on Insurable Infrastructure Solutions in the Pacific
A partnership between the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the IDF Disaster Risk Reduction Task Force, to help Pacific Island Countries (PICs) develop a regional strategy for insurable infrastructure solutions.
Working in conjunction with the task force’ private sector members, this initiative seeks to design a regional strategy for an insurance infrastructure facility that aims to operationalise the recommendations from ADB’s guide on insurable infrastructure. The project will provide risk reduction and advisory services, enhancing insurance provisions and exploring the feasibility of creating a “Pacific Infrastructure Risk Advisory and Transfer Facility” (PAC-INFRAT Facility).
