Membership & Participation
Join us to drive action and build Future Ready Nations.
The IDF is a unique public-private partnership, led by the insurance industry and co-led by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the World Bank Group.
We bring together the best minds in governments, the private sector, development and multilateral institutions – the IDF Change Agents – to drive the use of insurance and related risk management capabilities for resilience and growth – not just to withstand shocks, but to unlock investment, enable entrepreneurship, and long-term prosperity.
We engage partners across the private and public sectors to drive action. We implement projects, and advocate for the creation of the enabling environment needed to achieve our goals.
Together, we help build future-ready nations – so that people, communities and businesses can recover from disaster, attract investment, and thrive.
This page will help you understand what membership entails and how you can join us.
