Lena Fuldauer is the Head of Resilience Solutions & Business Development at Allianz Risk Consulting, part of Allianz Commercial, where she helps commercial insurance customers become more resilient to emerging risks by developing risk and resilience advisory services and building strategic partnerships.

She focuses on the intersection of science, risk analytics, innovation, and sustainability and transitioned to Allianz Commercial from Allianz internal reinsurer, which functions as the center of excellence for natural catastrophe modeling and climate risk assessment. Before joining Allianz, Fuldauer worked with UN agencies including UNOPS, the Global Centre on Adaptation and academia, providing evidence-based modelling and strategic consultation to government ministries including in Ghana, Saint Lucia and Curacao on climate resilience strategies designed to reduce infrastructure climate risks and advance sustainable development outcomes.

Fuldauer holds a PhD in Climate Adaptation for Sustainable Development from the University of Oxford and has contributed to the UN Global Assessment Report on Disaster Risk Reduction and UNEP reports on nature-based infrastructure. At Allianz, she publishes thought leadership studies and regularly delivers keynote presentations at international conferences. She speaks English, German and Spanish and resides in Munich.
