Governance & Members
How we function, our teams.
The Insurance Development Forum (IDF) is governed by a four-tiered decision-making structure which includes the Steering Committee, the Operating Committee, the Secretariat and the Working Groups. The Steering Committee, Operating Committee, and each of the Working Groups and Task Forces, are chaired by IDF insurance industry members and co-chaired by IDF public sector members.
The IDF Secretariat is funded by the industry members of the Steering Committee. Programmes implemented and delivered by the IDF working groups are financed through private, public and philanthropic sources through various modalities.
With almost 120 partner organisations from across the world, the IDF is a unique public-private partnership.
