Nick Moody was awarded both the “Industry Collaboration Champion” honour and the “Resilience & Sustainability” honour at the InsTech 2026 London Catastrophe Modelling Awards.
This is a recognition of Nick and the work of the Insurance Development Forum Risk Modelling Steering Group (RMSG) by climate and disaster risk modelling peers. In driving and coordinating the work of the RMSG, Nick plays a critical cross-sector role in strengthening risk awareness, capabilities and collaboration across the global risk ecosystem. And as Co-Director of the public-private Global Risk Modelling Alliance programme, he and the expert GRMA team support governments of Emerging Markets and Developing Economies (EMDEs) in strengthening their understanding and management of disaster risk.
