The report outlines the insurance needs of small-scale fishers, smallholder farmers and of MSMEs, informal workers and urban poor in the Philippines. Based on a gap analysis, it presents recommendations to respond to these needs. It also outlines the role of access to the global reinsurance market, as expressed by local insurance market representatives. All based on the inputs collected during the inclusive insurance country workshop by the Insurance Development Forum (IDF) and the Microinsurance Network (MiN) in Manila, in August 2023.
